My Photos
The photos I offer here are the best of the best; the select few of the 100s of photos I've taken over the years of the great outdoors and our National Parks in particular. They each contain some of America's most beloved scenic vistas - but each scene has been given a special little twist, something I hope will help you to see these wonders in new ways. Find an area you like on the left side of the page and click on the button to see the photos I've taken there.
I will continue to do the thing I love best - travel the outdoors. And because of that this photo gallery will change constantly - old favorites will stay, but new scenes will appear as I visit new places and revisit old friends. Find an area you like on the left side of the page and click on the button to see the photos I've taken there. So if you don't see anything you like right now, book mark the page and come back later!
Print Quality
I use only the finest quality papers (Pictorico Photo Gallery Hi-Gloss White Film) and the new Epson Lightfast inks designed to give you years of viewing pleasure. But as always, take good care of your prints to ensure their longevity. Two hints:
- Keep your photos out of direct sunlight.
- Protect your photos from the harmful effects of moisture by placing a sheet of aluminum foil between your photos and the backboard of your frame.
Free Samples!
Please feel free to take copies of any of the photos you see on the web site. It's easy to do. Just right-click on any photo and when the menu pops up click on "Save Picture As...". Then chose the place on your computer where you would like the photo stored.
Feel free to pass them on to your friends, use them as computer wallpaper, anything you want! I only ask that you leave the "willwoodard.com" logo in the bottom of the picture and use the photos only for personal, non-commercial use. Enjoy!
My Words
Throughout my travels I've experienced both successes and failures - and I'd like to use this web site to encourage you in the former and discourage you in the latter. So click through my Travel chat section to gain the benefit of my experience and answer such burning questions as:
- Where should I stay in Moab? (In the best bed and breakfast I've found anywhere, of course!)
- Where should I avoid staying at the Grand Canyon? (Do you remember the movie Joe Vs. the Volcano? Remember the place at the beginning of the movie where Joe worked - the place with the drab grey walls and flickering overhead fluorescent lights? Would you like to pay $100 a night to stay there? Didn't think so...)
- Are there any places at the Grand Canyon I can get away from the crowds?
